This Proverb can be titled "Avoiding the Perils of Adultery (nkjv)." It is culturally instructive to the young male of that day. But it can be applied and adapted more broadly than just gender behavior and conduct.  It is replete with warnings about unrestrained human passion. Sadly, the world today is far removed from adhering to the weight of wisdom. The cost of immoral activity remains severe still today.

v.  1
Wisdom can be weighty!

v.  2
Preserve discretion: maintain and retain sound j________________ and common s_____________.

v.  3
>Immorality is sin:
<humans are corrupt; humans are corruptible
>Sin occurs because of ignorance about boundaries
>Sin occurs because of the ignoring of the boundaries

v.  4
From sweet & ____________________ to bitter & _________________

v.  6
>Human curiousity fuels the human need to exp______________
>Human exp_______________________ can lead to decrying or lead to defying

v.  8
AVOID to AVERT!:

vv. 9-14
Consequences to cowardice:
What is lost?

vv. 15-23
When warnings work:
What is gained?
